With a good balm, lips suffering at the hands of cold winds can be transformed into Angelina Jolie's  lush pout.
Clinique Superbalm Lip Treatment (HK$110/7ml)  
An absurd price for what looks like a trial-size product. It moisturises while it lasts, but it is irritatingly sticky and wears off really quickly.
Kiehl's Lip Balm (HK$75/15ml)  
The smooth, rich and ultra-nourishing balm seems to almost melt right into your lips, leaving them plumped up, and with a non-sticky sheen.
Sukin Nourishing Lip Treatment (HK$75/10ml)  
Though thick and a bit greasy, this heavy-duty balm is great for an air-conditioned environment. The sweetness is off-putting.
Shu Uemura Depsea  Moisture Replenishing Lip Serum  (HK$180/15ml) 
This lip balm helps moisturise and keep lips hydrated for hours. Great for the winter to prevent  chapped and rough lips.
Biotherm Aquasource Lip Balm (HK$140/15ml)  
This is so nourishing without being  sticky or greasy. Just a tiny bit keeps your lips soft for hours.  The peach scent is a bonus.
