Elizabeth Chu doesn't just use her phone for taking photos of restaurants - she also stores lists of places she wants to visit on it and ticks them off after trying them.
'I'm always looking for new experiences,' says Chu, who compiles her lists after browsing blogs. She's a fan of Japanese and French food, but says the type of cuisine is less important than a new experience and the opportunity to add photos to her albums. Chu, who works in public relations, eats out two to four times a week.
As a student in Washington, Chu stuck to Asian food rather than American because of the portion sizes. However, she did try out the US capital city's Ethiopian restaurants once a month.
Having returned to Hong Kong two years ago, Chu says she loves French restaurant Amber. She dines there quite often and enjoys wine brunches for 'the value and quality of food you get'.
She recently enjoyed its organic egg, black truffle, croutons and crispy potatoes, because the eggs didn't overwhelm the dish, the croutons added a pleasant textural crunch and 'the colours were really nice'.
