At a Hindu Indian wedding, be prepared to celebrate and rejoice for hours, days and sometimes weeks with the bride and groom.

These weddings are all about rituals and traditions (and lots of them), with some unique customs based on the couple's caste and community.

From the Gujarati community in western India, one wedding ritual involves a pot of water, milk and vermillion mixed together, with a ring and some coins thrown in. Then the couple are allowed seven attempts to fish out the ring.
