Grub: Mostly desserts.

Vibe: The table tops are covered with a dark grey veneer. The walls are covered with the same and are illuminated by a lot of small lightbulbs. Along the walls are arty sepia-toned photos of desserts and cups of coffee. Combined with brown upholstery and its very narrow space, it adds up to a rather gloomy environment. The only respite is a flash of red from an ornamental flower display and the sunny smile of the waitress. It may be an attempt at minimalist decadence but a few mirrors along one wall would throw much-needed light around and open the space up a bit.

Who to take: Ocio is aimed at the young, trendy set, particularly those with a sweet tooth.

What's hot: The all-day breakfast is the only non-dessert item on the menu and is jolly good value for money. It consists of Canadian bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes and a huge German sausage.

The breakfast includes tea or coffee and waffles with butter and jam. If you are planning on having a dessert afterwards, you could forgo the butter and jam and use the waffle to mop up the last of the baked beans and tomato juice.
