A Nicaraguan and Taiwanese native, he is fluent in both Spanish and Chinese and holds an international business degree in hospitality and tourism from the Swiss Cesar Ritz. Lin has worked in Nicaragua, Switzerland and the United States before moving to Asia as food and beverage manager for the Sofitel Silom Bangkok. John Burger, general manager, Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe A South African hotelier, Burger has transferred from DoubleTree by Hilton Huaqiao-Kunshan to oversee the new five-star landmark's opening and development. He has 26 years of relevant experience, including five hotel openings, and first joined Hilton Worldwide in 2002 as director of business development for the opening of Hilton Chongqing. His extensive expertise has encompassed diverse areas of operations and management, including marketing and development, as well as new hotel construction and openings.
