You have got to hand it to Jacky Cheung Hok-yau, although he is in his 50s he has no intention of giving up his title of Canto-pop god of songs. And the fans still love him, with tickets for his latest concert selling like hotcakes.

His latest concert series '1/2 Century Tour' has covered the mainland, America and Australia, and Cheung has performed more than 90 shows since last December. He is now on the verge of breaking the record 105-show total of his last concert tour.

For those who missed the tour's Hong Kong stop, it is coming close to home this New Year's Eve to the CotaiArena at The Venetian Macao.

'I'm feeling excited and a bit nervous as well,' said Cheung. 'This is my first performance in the venue and also my first concert where I can countdown to the New Year with more than 7,000 fans. I hope I can give a fresh twist to the classic songs that fans love.'

The three Macau concerts run from December 30 to January 1.
