28 Business Thinkers Who Changed the World by Rhymer Rigby Audible (audiobook) As author Rhymer Rigby acknowledges, any list like that which makes up 28 Business Thinkers Who Changed the World will be arbitrary. His criterion was simply that the people included were 'game changers' who in a significant and lasting way changed the business world. Which is why father of the World Wide Web Sir Tim Berners-Lee is included. Rigby argues that without Berners-Lee's work the companies run by other who make it into the book, such as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, could not exist. Still, some might question the inclusion of someone like cosmetics queen Mary Kay Ash (one of four women included; the others being Anita Roddick, Oprah Winfrey and Meg Whitman). It is not clear why Ash deserves to rub shoulders with behemoths Steve Jobs, Rupert Murdoch, Bill Gates and Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad. Narrated in a straight-laced British accent by Colin Mace, the book is more a primer than something from which readers will gain much insight. The sole Asian inclusion is Sony's Akio Morita.
