AN influential business delegation, consisting of 14 overseas organisations in Hong Kong, is heading for Beijing on Sunday to discuss the post-1997 business environment in Hong Kong, it was revealed yesterday. Preliminary Working Committee member and former General Chamber of Commerce chairman Paul Cheng Ming-fun is a key organiser behind the visit and will be leading the 16-strong delegation. The visit will end on Tuesday. The delegation will discuss with Chinese officials important trade and economic issues in the run-up to 1997. The future of the investment environment in Hong Kong will be a key issue. The delegation includes representatives from British, New Zealand, Australian, Austrian, Canadian, Italian, Indian, German, Swiss, Japanese, Dutch, Belgian, French and Korean chambers of commerce or business associations in Hong Kong.
