Panasonic joins ranks

PANASONIC has joined the ranks of companies offering systems combining printer, fax and photocopy capabilities.

The new Panasonic PFC, priced at about US$800, can function as a low-end four-pages-per-minute, 300-dots per-inch-laser printer with a 70-sheet paper tray, as a 9,600-bits-per-second fax machine with a built-in phone/fax switch and a copier that can scan and print the first copy within about 40 seconds.
