With increasing competition in the luxury sports-car world and fears of clients getting lost in the mass-market crowd, Italian manufacturer Ferrari recently launched their Tailor-Made Program, a bespoke service that allows customers to personalise almost every facet of their dream car. While customising vehicles is nothing new to the luxury car brand, their latest programme is a throwback to their classic days in the '50s and '60s, when clients were offered an immense amount of freedom in concocting their ideal Ferrari. With three classic collections to choose from - Scuderia, Classica and Inedita - customers are invited to the flagship factory in Maranello, Italy, where they can hammer out details with the carmaker's staff, from fabrics to finishes, treatments to textures. They then chart the various processes involved in the vehicle's creation through to completion, before driving out with their one-of-a-kind Ferrari. But with the Italian company's self-imposed annual exclusivity limit, this is one bespoke service that won't be available to just anyone, ensuring that luxury car drivers will stand out even more. ferrari.com
