Minokawa will be responsible for managing the company's operations in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines and Mongolia. In addition to working in Japan during his 27-year tenure, he has worked in Malaysia and Thailand, and his role was extended to mainland China. In the past three years, he was the vice-president of Canon (China) and chief representative for the East China region, overseeing marketing and sales functions in Shanghai and six provincial business markets, including Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Zhejiang. Minokawa will make an important contribution to Canon Hongkong with his extensive management experience. He graduated from Keio University of Tokyo in 1985 and joined the human resources division of Canon Inc in the same year.
