What I'm watching: old West Wing episodes as they're highly addictive and work well when I'm in the field waiting for a flight or a ride to location. Plus any action or romantic movies - don't ask why.

What I'm listening to: the new album by Mates of State, plus their old stuff. I've also been listening to Boy Sets Fire, remembering the old times of the Hong Kong band scene.

Where I'm surfing: BBC News every couple of hours, and The New York Times website.

What's my gadget: my portable GPS satnav. Some cars I drive don't have a speedometer, so it's great to see how fast I'm actually going - as well as not getting lost.
