A KINDERGARTEN teacher who allegedly exchanged 10 counterfeit Dutch guilder bank notes was arrested the third time she tried to change such notes, the District Court heard. Karen Elizabeth Suen, 36, pleaded not guilty before Judge Jackson to attempting to pass counterfeit notes and two counts of passing counterfeit notes. Prosecutor Susanna Lee said Suen went to the Madina Exchange Company, Tsim Sha Tsui, on November 20 last year, and presented five 100 Dutch guilder bank notes to a teller. But the teller found the notes were forged and informed the police. The court heard Suen had changed five 100 Dutch guilder notes - later found to be forged - on two previous occasions. The hearing continues.
