The co-president of Swiss jewellers Chopard made headlines around the world after police reported that she took off a HK$12.3 million emerald and diamond ring to wash her hands in Hong Kong's Four Seasons Hotel and forgot to put it back on. She realised her error within minutes but when she returned to the toilets, it had gone. A reward of up to HK$500,000 has been offered for the return of the ring, which disappeared on September 8.
