CISCO Systems, a global supplier of enterprise networks, has purchased from LightStream Corp Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) switching assets and technology for US$120 million.
LightStream is a joint venture between Bolt Beranek and Newman and Ungermann-Bass (now UB Networks).
Cisco has also entered into an agreement with BBN in jointly marketing BBN's capabilities and Cisco products in the area of internet services.
