Skateboarding ... changes your life, dude. It changes the way you think, the way you do business. When you're learning a trick, you don't give up until you [are] perfect. You can apply that to life: you try to start a business and it fails, you do it again. If it's not working, let's do it again.

Skating on the streets of Hong Kong ... is super fun. Street skating is where I started. But now things have changed: you can't skate on the street any more. The cops give you warnings and write tickets, and security guards get upset and throw water at you. Now that I'm older, I've realised that we were destroying their property.

When I started skating ... I started from Wan Chai. I skated to Admiralty and Central. Then I skated around in Central for a bit, came back to Admiralty and then left. Skating on the street is still the best. That's the essence of skateboarding.

I've run from ... the cops a few times. Back then, the cops were so rude and super raw, cursing at us. I was 13 or 14 and scared out of my mind. I got caught a few times but never went to jail - thank God for that. I was just caught and then let go.

I try to skate ... at least twice a week now. If I have more time, maybe three times when I'm hyped. But I have a daughter, and I have 10 jobs. It's never enough, but I have priorities.

Last time I counted ... I had about 750 pairs of sneakers. A lot of them are here at the shop. I have 150, 200 at home, some of them are in stock rooms - they're just all over the place. I don't think of myself as a collector. I just love sneakers. I just buy sneakers that I think are dope [cool].
