DORSET House, the latest addition to Swire Properties' emerging office metropolis in Quarry Bay, has been fully let. Swire did not name the final tenant for the remaining 11/2 floors in the 39-storey, grade A office building. But it is rumoured to be the Bank of Bermuda, which has offices in Central. Other major corporations which have signed on the dotted line include Citibank, P & O Containers, Yaohan International Holdings, Bank of America and South China Morning Post (Holdings). The building, with its adjoining twin tower, housing Hongkong Telecom's new headquarters, is just days away from receiving its occupation permit. One of its special attractions will be an exclusive high-class tenants' dining facility and club spanning three floors, to be called Butterfields, which is due for completion in September next year and will be managed by the Peninsula Group.
