HONG KONG woman Elke Tsang Kai-mong is due to be hanged in Singapore early tomorrow morning for drug offences.
Tsang's family is believed to have been notified of the scheduled execution less than a week ago, and is now paying the 29-year-old merchandiser final visits in Singapore's Changi prison.
Yesterday a source in Singapore said Tsang seemed to be accepting her fate quite well. 'She was quiet,' said the source. 'She is a Buddhist, and is now being counselled by a Buddhist nun.' Tsang's parents have asked Amnesty International to lodge a worldwide appeal for her life to be spared.

Tsang was sentenced to death last year for attempting to smuggle more than four kilograms of heroin in two winter jackets.
