Pointing fingers at China is less likely to get it to cooperate and more likely to make it defensive. The bottom line is that Beijing needs to be engaged and not isolated – China is not the problem, it is a critical part of the solution.
The US continues to drive the global economy. It must move beyond this distraction and raise its education standards to beat back China’s challenge. If the world is to stop Covid-19 in its tracks, China is not the problem but part of the solution.
