John Pomeroy

Dr John Pomeroy is distinguished professor of geography and director of the Global Water Futures Programme at the University of Saskatchewan – the largest, and most published university-led freshwater research project in the world. He is also Unesco Chair in Mountain Water Sustainability, and co-chair of the UN Advisory Board for the International Year for Glaciers’ Preservation – 2025.
