The final number of bids is set to be announced on Friday as city tests new land-sale model with housing, tech parks, public infrastructure

So far, the two Hong Kong developers have confirmed their tender submission. The final number of bids will be announced later on Friday, according to the Development Bureau.
Other major developers did not immediately reply to a request for comment, while Sun Hung Kai Properties said it had no comment on the tender submission.
The Hung Shui Kiu tender is the first site under the government’s new large-scale land disposal model for the Northern Metropolis, Hong Kong’s multibillion-dollar development project aimed at expanding housing supply and developing technology and innovation industries.
The 10.5-hectare (26-acre) site comprises three residential plots and three enterprise and technology park sites, with a capacity for about 3,120 homes and 280,000 square metres of industrial floor space.
