The 7-Eleven chain of convenience stores is Hong Kong's favourite brand.
Research company BDRC Asia asked 1,512 consumers in the city to choose the "superbrands" out of more than 1,000 brands, and 7-Eleven topped the list of 10 announced on November 6.
Next in line were Yahoo!, Visa, Ocean Park and Watsons. 7-Eleven headed the list last year as well.
Superbrands is the most recognised brand awards in the world. The company has been showcasing the world's best brands in more than 80 nations since 1994.
It hired BDRC to conduct an online poll last month to discover the city's favourite brands.
Almost nine out of 10 of people BDRC surveyed said they would be more likely to buy a product or service if they saw a Superbrand logo associated with the product.
And four out of five people said they would be more likely to try a new product or service associated with a Superbrand.
Mark Pointer, CEO of Superbrands Hong Kong, said trust was the key element. "Consumers who trust your products and services have confidence in them, which means they will buy more and more and return again and again."
