Hong Kong cancelled trade on its stock and futures’ market on Wednesday because of Typhoon Hato.

Trade was suspended after the Hong Kong Observatory kept its No 10 gale storm warning hoisted at noon, prompting the exchange to scrap the day’s trading session, Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing said in a statement.

Gold trading at the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society will also terminated due to Typhoon Hato.
