Citi analyst Anil Daswani said that based on industry sources, Macau table gross gaming revenue for the first 20 days of this month reached 11.1 billion patacas, a daily run-rate of 512 million patacas, againt last month's average of 601 million patacas. This likely reflects the usual seasonal slowdown before the National Day golden week holiday next month. Citi continues to expect softness this week and is maintaining its gross gaming revenue forecast for this month at 17.5 billion patacas, down 32 per cent year on year. "Based on our room rate survey, hotels for the golden week holiday (October 1-7) are fully occupied and we believe there is enough quality mass and premium mass business to have a strong golden week."
