A ‘Stormy’ political conspiracy is brewing in good old America
- From Bill Clinton to Anwar Ibrahim, mixing sex and scandal is the easiest way in politics to go after an enemy or eliminate a threat

Donald Trump made me watch porn yesterday afternoon – all for research, of course. Because of the seismic changes in US politics, as in criminally charging a former president, I thought I needed to be more familiar with Stormy Daniels, the stripper and porn star at the heart of the scandal.
It’s not that the United States has had no corrupt or criminal presidents before, but until now, an occupant of the White House, former or current, pretty much got a get-out-of-jail-free pass. Richard Nixon came close to being charged, until his successor, Gerald Ford, offered him an unconditional pardon to pre-empt any future prosecution.
But I digress. What was I talking about before? Oh yes, porn.
Wow, I can understand why Trump was tempted. But then he seems like the kind of guy who easily succumbs to temptation. Committing a deadly sin wasn’t his problem, though. Rather it was allegedly for trying to cover it up with hush money. But please, don’t rush to judgment; he’s innocent until proven guilty.
Trump is God’s gift to serious political columnists like yours truly:
“Honey, when are you coming to bed?”
