Paris Fashion Week: the unbearable lightness of being

Dries Van Noten was already an early favourite this Wednesdays for SS13 Paris Fashion Week.

Dries Van Noten was already an early favourite this Wednesdays for SS13 Paris Fashion Week. His show at a space on Rue de Vaugirard (below) set fashion tongues waging. It was a delicate, effortless and poetic collection compiled of loose, airy silhouettes, casual lounge suiting, skirts and rolled up sleeves.

Monochrome madness

Monochrome madness: Martine Sitbon's label Rue Du Mail (below) reworked black and white 1960s Mod with pop references. Would have loved to take the light raincoats straight off the models' backs to the rainy streets of Paris. The prints proved distracting but there were some great Mod style pieces. Also there were Hilary Tsui and Dorothy Hui, Hong Kong fashion girls of Liger boutique, who stock the label, looking stylish as always.
