Raf Simon's first women's ready-to-wear debut was a minimalist interpretation of the storied French house through the Belgian designer's eyes.

Raf Simon's first women's ready-to-wear debut was a minimalist interpretation of the storied French house through the Belgian designer's eyes. Loose boho A-line shapes and flowing styles softened the structure and hemlines lifted up very high.  Then there were little miniskirts and shorts. It was a huge update and transformation for Dior under the guidance of this new designer  - a youthful, fresh approach and definitely a new chapter at Dior.

 

Isabel Marant: Too cool for school

Glowing tanned models wore tropical style prints in white, black and red. The ruffled mini skirts, slim cropped trousers and ruffled boho shirts make for an easy and cognisable point of reference for Marant's masculine-feminine laid back sensibilities.
