Cantonese restaurant chain Tao Heung was found to have kept its popular dim sum in a Tai Po warehouse without adequate refrigeration - and even outside in the rain. The dishes are made on the mainland every day and transported to Hong Kong. After the delivery firm was told to improve storage the dim sum was then found at a Sheung Shui warehouse, where refrigeration was again inadequate. By law, food to be sold must be kept below 4 degrees Celsius and heated above 60 degrees Celsius. Offenders face a fine of up to HK$50,000 and six months' jail.
