AmCham and the South China Morning Post present the 10th Annual Women of Influence Conference & Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel. Speakers include Rebecca Lee Lok-sze, founder of the Polar Museum Foundation and the first Hongkonger to visit the three extremes of the earth - the North Pole, South Pole and Mount Everest; and Jing Ulrich, managing director of Asia Pacific, JP Morgan Chase & Co, often called one of the world's most powerful woman.

Croatia's deputy prime minister and leader of the liberal Croatian People's Party, Dr Vesna Pusic, is in Hong Kong to speak at Lingnan University on the topic of "Models of Political Transitions in Europe". She is known as an outspoken liberal, and a vocal advocate of European integration, gender equality, and LGBT rights. Pusic, who also teaches at the sociology department of Zagreb University, co-founded the country's first feminist group in the late 1970s.
