Ethiopians took top honours in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on Sunday. Leading the pack in the men's marathon was Gemeda Feyera, who ran the race in two hours, 15 minutes and five seconds. He beat out last year's winner, Kenyan Julius Maisei. Feyera only started running marathons four years ago. Feyera's compatriots were even more dominant in the women's marathon, taking the first three places. First past the line was Rehima Kedir in 2:34:53, who beat last year's winner, Misiker Demissie, by 12 seconds. Gemechu Bebellu came in third.
