US Secretary of State John Kerry travels to Beijing today, where he and Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will participate in the sixth joint meeting of the US-China strategic and economic dialogue. Their Chinese co-chairs, State Councillor Yang Jiechi and Vice-Premier Wang Yang , will join them for the two-day meeting that will cover both countries' economic and strategic challenges and opportunities.

 

Hong Kong's Health Department will release a report from an advisory group it formed to study the health effects of time spent on the internet and in front of electronic screens. The department already recommends parents limit their children's screen time, as well as the distance kids sit from their screens when they do watch them. Research from other institutions, such as the University of Michigan, has linked excessive screen time with early weight gain.
