Say yes to leniency but no to amnesty
- Bar Association chairman Philip Dykes is right to argue prosecutors should be lenient with people arrested for non-violent offences related to protests of the past seven months, but he also needs to tell the public that a blanket amnesty for all arrested protesters is legally impossible
