Don’t dismiss contrarians’ arguments over Trump, Covid-19 or China – even when they’re wrong

  • Contrarians who question the US election results, suspect Covid-19 is a conspiracy or don’t think China has hegemonic aims are dismissed as dangerous or wrong
  • But what is there not to praise in people who hold different views about a subject, trying to discover the truth through reason and argument?
