CIK Telecom expands coverage to give customers total connectivity
Company offers high-speed internet, telephone and internet protocol television services to large ethnic communities across Canada
With cutting-edge innovations, technology has impacted many aspects of daily life. Not only does it have the power to bridge geographical distances with a click of a button, technology also links to a wealth of online resources that enhances offline experiences.
Understanding technology’s role in today’s lifestyles, CIK Telecom is committed to further strengthening family, social and business ties through advanced telecommunications and multimedia services.
CIK serves large ethnic communities across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, providing high-speed internet, telephone and internet protocol television services. CIK aims to further grow its 170,000-strong subscriber base with the addition of the French, Spanish and Arabic demographics.
Alongside its client expansion, CIK is beefing up its infrastructure and is building its own fibre-optic network. Moving beyond wired connectivity, CIK is also venturing into wireless for residential and commercial use.
Supporting interconnectivity anytime and anywhere, CIK is launching portable Wi-fi services that can be utilised locally and internationally. The portable Wi-fi enables SIM card-less roaming connectivity in 30 to 40 countries.
“When it comes to reliable telecommunications and multi-media services, CIK is the go-to company. We are committed to research and development to fuel innovation,” says CEO Jordan Deng.
An innovative company, CIK was an early adopter of cloud technology even before the term was coined, implementing a centralised online system for its operations. It also built its own firewall, management system and internet protocol television system.
Committed to providing the best customer experiences, CIK established a global contact centre operation to provide language support to its diversified customer base 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Its language supports comprise Arabic, French, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
CIK is open to partnerships with telecommunications companies that can help boost its technological development. It also seeks to expand its contact centre operations, possibly in the Philippines.
