About 10 years before Chanin Vanijwongse founded lifestyle property investment firm Habitat Group, he had bought and sold luxury properties in Sukhumvit. Today, after 11 highly successful development projects, the company CEO has proven that experience does pay.
“Our complete understanding of property investors has helped us create for them hassle-free turnkey solutions,” Chanin says. “Our clients do not have to get too involved, and can simply relax and collect money.”
Habitat Group’s rental management programme in Pattaya provides 6 per cent guaranteed rental income for the first five years and 60 per cent profit sharing thereafter for up to 30 years. The titled units come fully furnished and allow owners to use them for 14 days a year. Australian-based BHMA Hotels and Resorts under the X2 brand, five-star hotel operator Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and a luxury boutique hotel specialist under the BW Premier Collection brand manage the properties and attend to every client need, from marketing to maintenance.
Habitat Group’s award-winning projects include luxury condominium Walden Asoke in Bangkok’s central business district. Priced about 20 per cent cheaper than the competition and packaged with a rental management solution, the low-rise development is one of Habitat Group’s three new Walden projects in Asoke. Together with upcoming undertakings in Sukhumvit 31 and 39, the company is giving clients an opportunity to ride the expected appreciation in property values in Bangkok.
“We want all our projects to be landmark developments that clients would be truly proud to own,” Chanin says. “We combine great location and world-class workmanship with a one-of-a-kind play on architecture.”
Luxury condominium for investment Wyndham Atlas Wongamat Pattaya, for instance, features a glass swimming pool running across its atrium. People in the pool can see visitors in the lobby while those below can view people in the pool.
“We expect business to at least triple in the next five years,” Chanin says. “We are listing in the near-term and welcome world-class partners and investors who can drive business to the next level.”
