“We strive to be a reliable partner to customers in Europe and the United States, and so when they expanded, we followed them and established subsidiaries in China, Singapore, Malaysia, and now India – wherever their manufacturing sites are situated,” says Nathalie Kletti, CEO. “We have been working in the MES field since the 1980s, way before the term MES was conceived.”

MPDV’s flagship solutions include the renowned MES HYDRA X, the open platform concept Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP), and the advanced planning and scheduling system FEDRA.

The company’s HYDRA X goes beyond a classic MES as it also supports processes such as intralogistics or operator guidance in complex assembly systems. Its MIP helps companies manage a range of manufacturing information technology applications by combining manufacturing functions from different providers. Its platform-based software for innovative production planning, FEDRA, applies state-of-the-art technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data.

“Each of our products can stand on its own, or they can work seamlessly together,” Kletti says. “We are not just a solution provider, but we also offer training, consultancy and project management services.”

As the original creator of the smart factory, MPDV publishes textbooks on MES and MIP as it develops modules, systems and functionalities with core software and individual applications. It ensures its offering continues to be a viable investment for customers.

“We had the vision early on to look at potential pain points for manufacturers, and this foresight or focus on solving potential problems is a key factor in the success of MPDV,” Kletti says.
