In 2006, mdexx opened its first site in Tianjin for the production of transformers, reactors and fans for the Chinese market. Its acquisition in 2017 by Zhuzhou Lince Group proved to be a strategic move in serving the local rolling stock industry, boosted by the opening last year of another subsidiary in Zhuzhou for the production of winding products for China.
“Our step into Asia seems faster with Lince Group,” Marks says.
“It widens our business in China, and gives us more success in bringing our technical expertise, international standards and highly customised solutions.

Known for developing and manufacturing high-quality transformers, power supplies, reactors and filters as catalogued products and customised solutions, mdexx has gathered more than 50 years of expertise especially from its affiliation with Siemens and its track record of serving the world’s biggest players such as Atlas Copco and KUKA Robotics.
The company has support from its strong engineering teams in Germany, the Czech Republic and China.
