Beauty is more than skin-deep with Laboratoire Sintyl’s skincare science

Laboratoire Sintyl goes beyond creams and serums that work only skin-deep

For Laboratoire Sintyl, healthy skin is beautiful skin. Founded in 1974 in Geneva, Laboratoire Sintyl sees skincare as a science. The company goes beyond creams and serums that work only skin-deep, and develops premium products that penetrate deep into the skin to deliver visible and lasting results.

Under the flagship concept brand Méthode Physiodermie, Laboratoire Sintyl produces a complete range of anti-ageing solutions, backed by 40 years of research on skin rejuvenation.

Developing, designing and manufacturing all products in accordance with Switzerland’s stringent cosmetic industry standards, Laboratoire Sintyl guarantees customers premium quality.

“The fact that all our products are proudly Swiss-made in our Geneva facility ensures that they only get the highest quality ingredients and, therefore, with the highest effectiveness,” says CEO Alexandre Vacher.

We seek partners that can distribute to a whole country or even several

Driven by intensive research and development, Laboratoire Sintyl devotes 20 per cent of sales to developing innovative methods in formulating products. One breakthrough the company pioneered is the micro-encapsulation of multi-active ingredients (MEIMA) — a process encapsulating high concentrations of essential oils into liposomes. MEIMA allows the oils to work individually in one capsule without neutralising each other, and releases them at the right skin layer where cells need them most.

On top of its skincare expertise, Laboratoire Sintyl also showcases its MEIMA technology in its Physiocoiffeur hair care line. Containing plant stem cells, Physiocoiffeur products target the hair bulbs to stop hair loss and stimulate regrowth.

Méthode Physiodermie and Physiocoiffeur products are distributed in medical spas, beauty institutes and salons across three continents. Laboratoire Sintyl aims to build greater brand awareness in China and the rest of Asia through partners.

“We seek partners that can distribute to a whole country or even several. We can provide support throughout the commercialisation process to help them best represent our brand,” Vacher says.

Taking its growth strategy further, Laboratoire Sintyl is strengthening its production capabilities to also offer contract manufacturing services to companies looking to market quality products.
