International Drummer Festival 2016

Percussion has always taken a back seat to other instruments in the composition of band music. That’s something organisers of this inaugural five-day festival hope to change by uniting drummers from different musical genres to share the spotlight typically reserved for vocalists and guitarists. A number of drumming workshops and clinics will be held for those hoping to sharpen and fine-tune their skills.

June 8-12, various times, venues and prices. Tickets available at Urbtix and/or Cityline. Inquiries: [email protected]
