Hong Kong hip hop godfathers LMF will be headlining a huge lineup of influential local indie bands at a new two-day festival this summer.

Also playing at the Wow and Flutter Weekend at West Kowloon Cultural District from August 13-14 are standout Hong Kong outfits including RubberBand, Killer Soap, King Ly Chee, Supper Moment and Ni.Ne.Mo.

After first coming together in 1993, LMF achieved notoriety in Hong Kong with their often profanity-laced lyrics about local issues. They broke up in 2003 but reformed in 2009, and are now seen as the elder statesmen of Hong Kong’s hip hop movement.

Entry prices have not been announced but tickets go on sale on June 29 via 7-Eleven outlets. For more information about the Wow and Flutter Weekend , visit
