American seventies rock icons Journey – best known for the seminal singalong track Don’t Stop Believin’ – will be performing in Hong Kong for the first time in February.

The San Francisco outfit cut a swathe through rock music in the 1970s with hits that also included Any Way You Want It, Separate Ways and Only the Young, selling more than 80 million albums worldwide and seeing their Greatest Hits album go platinum 15 times over.

The band were rejuvenated in 2007 when Filipino Arnel Pineda – who had previously had several stints fronting cover bands in Hong Kong – joined Journey as their new lead singer, and the band have since released two albums and embarked on seven major tours.
