Sting announces Hong Kong date for June as part of world tour
Show at the Convention and Exhibition Centre is one of only two performances in Asia alongside Singapore event
The concert at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 3 will be Sting’s first show in Hong Kong since his “Back to Bass” tour called at the end of 2012.
Sting, the former frontman of The Police who went on to a hugely successful solo career, will launch the “57th & 9th” tour – named after his latest album – in Vancouver on February 1. The Hong Kong show will be the tour’s only Asian date apart from a concert in Singapore on May 28.
Tickets go on sale on January 13; prices and vendors have yet to be confirmed.
