British new wave and pop star Sting will be returning to Hong Kong for a live performance in June. The concert at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 3 will be Sting’s first show in Hong Kong since his “Back to Bass” tour called at the end of 2012. ‘Never forget’: Sting reopens Paris Bataclan one year after music hall massacre Sting, the former frontman of The Police who went on to a hugely successful solo career, will launch the “57th & 9th” tour – named after his latest album – in Vancouver on February 1. The Hong Kong show will be the tour’s only Asian date apart from a concert in Singapore on May 28. Tickets go on sale on January 13; prices and vendors have yet to be confirmed.
