BTS new album ‘Love Yourself: Answer’ due out in August, band announce
K-pop giants’ follow-up to the history-making ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ will feature seven new songs as well as previously released tracks
K-pop giants BTS, the first K-pop band to hit No 1 on the US Billboard album charts, have announced that their next album will be released next month.
“Love Yourself: Answer”, which will feature seven new songs as well as previously released tracks, will be released on August 24, the South Korean superstars announced on their official Twitter page.
It follows the May release of “Love Yourself: Tear”, an album that made K-pop history by hitting the top of the US charts. The album’s lead single, Fake Love, also set a record by becoming the first K-pop single to debut in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
“Love Yourself: Answer” will be the fourth and apparently final instalment in BTS’s Love Yourself series, following May’s “Tear”, April’s Love Yourself: Wonder video and 2017’s “Love Yourself: Her” EP.
