BTS’ new K-pop video with Nicki Minaj shoots to 10 million views in less than one day
K-pop mega band have another YouTube hit on their hands, days after their first Idol music video became fastest to 100 million views this year
A music video of K-pop mega band BTS’ new version of hit single Idol, which features US rapper Nicki Minaj, has scored more than 10 million views on YouTube within less than 24 hours of its release.
The original video of the song, which came out last month , and featured just the band’s seven members, was the fastest music video so far this year to receive 100 million views, according to online music website Billboard.
Idol is from “Love Yourself: Answer”, BTS’ second album released this year to top the Billboard chart; they are the only Korean music act to achieve the feat.
The boy band are currently in the United States for their Love Yourself world tour, and will perform in New York on October 6.
