Our three favourite Macau restaurants: magic duo Kalin and Jinger's choice
Kalin and Jinger from Macau's premier magic show, House of Magic, discuss their three favourite restaurants

Kalin and Jinger are a cutting-edge duo who redefine the concept of traditional magic. They are regular guest performers at the House of Magic in Studio City, in addition to touring worldwide with their bestselling Illusionists show.
The couple were voted Magicians of the Year in 1998 by The Academy of Magical Arts (The Magic Castle), the highest honour in the industry for their stunning shows.

1. This is Macau’s only magic-themed restaurant located next door to the House of Magic. It brings together modern Shanghainese cuisine and magic. Our favourite and a highly recommended dish is the stir-fried egg white with sea urchin and diced fish. Unlike Shanghai-style stir-fried egg white with diced fish, here the traditional dish is presented in an innovative mixture of fresh crab meat and mashed Chinese Perch. The mixture is allowed to simmer and then stir-fried, before placing fresh Hokkaido sea urchin on top to replace traditional egg yolks, which adds flavour and freshness. A little dip in the Chinese black rice Chinkiang Vinegar is the perfect combination to enjoy it to the fullest.
