John Carter

John Carter has been an economics and finance journalist for more than 40 years. Prior to joining the Post, he worked for Market News International for more than 33 years, first as Washington Bureau Chief, then as European Managing Editor in Frankfurt, Germany and finally as Asian Managing Editor working out of Beijing.
