September is here, and summer is fading into autumn. As the kids go back at school and we gear up for the remaining few months of 2025 (already?), it’s time for a weekend of new menus and openings.

Artifact gives us four bold new drinks working with Maker’s Mark, Duddell’s reopens with a new look and offers a drinks menu based on feng shui, and Shelley Tai returns to Hong Kong to open Mius, bringing us classic twists and a curated menu of champagne.

What: There’s no better way to kick-start your weekend than at Artifact as the cocktail bar expands its menu in partnership with Maker’s Mark whiskey. In addition to the Shogun highball cocktail (honeydew melon, matcha, vanilla and more), the Jardine House speakeasy adds four drinks emphasising a wide array of notes from Maker’s Mark.

The Illmatic pays tribute to the rich lyrics of New York rapper Nas by combining cold-smoked hay, cola reduction, cassia bark and aromatic bitters. Meanwhile, Summer Games overlays pepper jack, caramelised onion, watermelon and arugula in a savoury yet light antidote to the enduring hot weather in the city.

Where: Shop 5 and 7, LG/F, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central
