Paris’ dining scene spans Michelin temples to market-fresh bistros. One night, you’ll chase truffle-infused classics near the Louvre; the next, fusion plates in a Marais atelier or natural wines by the canal.
Whether you’re here for Paris Fashion Week, art museum exhibitions, long strolls by the Seine or garden escapes, seek out these under-the-radar spots for a real taste of the city.

This courtyard spot sits at the back of a quiet Marais passage, part historic town house, part glass-roofed atelier, part modern dining room – removed from the traffic a few steps away. Bistro cooking leans French with a subtle twist, closely tied to organic and artisanal produce arriving daily: scallop carpaccio with Chioggia beet and pomegranate in hibiscus aguachile, Basque veal with green pepper sauce and crisp potatoes, or the catch of the day. An extensive list of around 80 bottles, with several grands crus by the glass, makes it easy to match each course to a different pour.

Must-order: Whatever seasonal risotto is on the menu, plus a glass from the organic-leaning wine list.
