Then, during the weekend proper, PMQ lights up with the city’s annual craft gin festival, Ginsanity, before Saturday rounds the week out with free-flow margaritas at The Pontiac.

It’s not every day that the World’s Best Bar turns three. For one night only, Bar Leone is turning into The Grand Leone Hotel to celebrate. To help host the festivities, a grand total of nine guest bartenders are arriving to shake things up, coming in all the way from venues like Singapore’s Manhattan Bar and Bar Bello from Montreal, Canada, to Danic from Paris and Hero Bar from Nairobi in Kenya.

Of course, familiar faces like Two Moons Distillery, Perfume Trees Gin and Kowloon Distillery will represent Hong Kong, and brands like Mezzanine Makers and HK Liquor Store round out the line-up of beverages with mixers and liqueurs, while Life Solutions is on site to keep festival goers hydrated.

Friday sees DJs $aga and Riela spin the decks until last call, while DJ Ariel Shi and Ron Pentagon will run it back for Saturday. Both line-ups are supported by a live saxophonist.
