British tailor Hackett London got itself noticed when it opened its flagship store in Causeway's Bay's Hysan Avenue.

Guests at Friday's grand opening of the two-floor boutique in Eton Tower included actors Julian Cheung Chi-lam and Michael Wong Man-tak, and socialite couples Ernie and Marie Shek and Brandon and Jenny Chau.

Founder and chairman Jeremy Hackett arrived in an Aston Martin, and was joined by British Consul General Caroline Wilson for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and dotting of the lion's eye.

Guests enjoyed champagne and canapés and received a souvenir leather key chain on which they could have their initials engraved on the spot.
